What's the difference between the two branches?

Boat Restoration (Branch A): Funds go toward a complete, charter-grade restoration of a Bavaria Sport 34 motorboat. Goal: $300,000. Tangible, achievable, and you'll see real progress with photos and updates of this showcase transformation.

Million Challenge (Branch B): A social experiment to see if 1 million people will donate $1 each. Goal: $1,000,000. More ambitious, but proves the power of collective action.

Split 50/50 (Branch C): Support both goals equally - get both adventures with one donation!

How much can I donate?

We offer preset tiers and custom amounts:

Can I donate multiple times?

Yes! You can donate as many times as you'd like. Each donation increases your recognition entries and can unlock new achievements. You'll keep the same donor number, and all your donations are tracked together.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes! After your payment is confirmed, you'll receive an email receipt with your donor number, referral code, and a link to your personal donor dashboard.

Can I get a refund?

Due to the nature of crowdfunding, all donations are final. However, if there's a genuine error or technical issue, please contact us immediately and we'll review your case.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

No, this is not a registered charity or non-profit organization, so donations are not tax-deductible. This is a personal crowdfunding campaign.

How does the referral system work?

When you donate, you receive a unique referral code (e.g., donor12847). You can generate custom referral links and share them. When someone donates through your link, you get credit for the referral, which gives you:

• +10 recognition entries per referral
• Position on the referrers leaderboard
• Achievements (Super Spreader at 5 refs, Viral Champion at 25 refs)

How long does the referral cookie last?

When someone clicks your referral link, we store a cookie in their browser for 7 days. If they donate within those 7 days, you get credit for the referral. The first referral link clicked gets the credit - it's first-come, first-served to ensure fairness.

Can I see who donated through my link?

You can see the total count of referrals on your donor dashboard, but we protect donor privacy by not showing individual names unless they've opted to display publicly in the activity feed.

Is there a limit to referrals?

No limit! The more people you authentically introduce to the project, the better. Just make sure you're following our no-spam policy. Quality over quantity!

What's the no-spam policy?

We prohibit mass unsolicited messages, bot activity, comment spam, fake accounts, misleading content, and harassment. Violations result in immediate disqualification from the Recognition Program. Be authentic, be respectful, and share naturally. See our Share page for full details.

What is the Caribbean celebration?

When we reach our goals, we're hosting a celebration event in Sint Maarten, Caribbean! Selected donors will be invited to join us for boat tours, beach parties, and celebrating this amazing collective achievement together.

How does Priority Score work?

Priority Score determines your ranking for filming event invitations through objective, verifiable criteria. You earn Priority Score points through:

• Contribution Amount × 10 (contribute $50 = 500 points)
• Referrals × 100 (5 referrals = 500 bonus points)

The more Priority Score points you have, the higher your ranking! Rankings are objective and transparent - same inputs always produce same output.

What are the Priority Score tiers?

• Tier 1 - Elite Circle: Top 10 contributors OR $250+ contributions - guaranteed invitation to the filming event!
• Tier 2 - Gold Selection: $50-249 contributors - priority selection based on Priority Score
• Tier 3 - Silver Recognition: $10-49 contributors - community selection based on Priority Score
• Tier 4 - Online Access Pass: All $1+ contributors - live stream access to the filming event

What does the invitation include?

The invitation includes access to the Caribbean celebration event activities (boat tours, beach parties, etc.). However, travel expenses (airfare, hotel, meals) are NOT included - recognized participants are responsible for getting to Sint Maarten and accommodation.

When will invitations be announced?

Invitations will be announced when the boat restoration goal ($300,000) is reached and the boat is ready. We'll announce the date at least 2 months in advance and allocate invitations based on Priority Score rankings with full transparency.

What boat are you restoring?

We're restoring a Bavaria Sport 34 motorboat - a beautiful 34-foot cruiser perfect for Caribbean adventures. The boat needs mechanical work, interior refurbishment, and cosmetic improvements to bring it back to its former glory.

Why does it cost $300,000?

This is a complete, charter-grade restoration to showcase-ready standards in the Caribbean. The budget reflects realistic costs for a full upgrade including:

Will you show progress updates?

What if you raise more than $300,000 for the boat?

Any funds raised beyond the $300,000 goal will be used for additional premium upgrades (like enhanced diving equipment, watermaker system, upgraded galley appliances) or to enhance the Caribbean celebration event. All spending will be fully transparent and documented with receipts.

How is my data used?

Can I remain anonymous?
