About This Experiment

The story behind Send Me A Dollar Please

🤔 The Idea

Can one million people each send $1? It's a simple question that's never been answered.

In a world where viral content reaches millions in hours, where memes spread across continents in minutes, and where online communities accomplish incredible things—why has nobody successfully asked one million people to each send a single dollar?

This isn't about me. It's about testing whether the internet can collectively accomplish something extraordinary through the smallest possible individual action. Just $1.

🎯 Two Branches, One Experiment

🚤

The Bavaria Sport 34 Restoration

A tangible goal with a real outcome. There's a Bavaria Sport 34 motor yacht in the Caribbean that needs a complete $250,000 transformation. New Yanmar engines replacing the failed Volvo Pentas, gyro stabilizers, fin stabilizers, modern electronics, custom hardtop with TV, upgraded bar with ice maker, and full safety equipment.

This branch is about creating something extraordinary—transforming a neglected yacht into the ultimate Caribbean cruiser. Something you can see, touch, and experience. Something that brings people together for unforgettable adventures.

Goal: $300,000 for charter-grade yacht transformation
Outcome: Real boat tours and Caribbean celebrations
🌟

The Million Challenge

Pure social experiment. Can we get one million people to each send $1? Nobody's ever done it before. This branch is about testing the limits of viral action and collective behavior.

Complete transparency. Every dollar tracked. Real-time stats. Gamification. Leaderboards. And a Priority Score-based Caribbean filming event for contributors when (if?) we hit $1,000,000.

Goal: $1,000,000 from one million people
Outcome: Proof it can be done + epic celebration
💚

Or Split It 50/50

Can't decide? Split your donation between both branches. Support the tangible boat project AND the experimental million-dollar challenge at the same time.

💭 Why This Matters

We live in an age of unprecedented connectivity. Millions of people can see the same post, watch the same video, share the same meme—all within hours.

But can that connectivity translate into collective action? Can we prove that one million individuals, each acting independently with the smallest possible contribution, can accomplish something extraordinary?

This isn't crowdfunding for a product. It's not a charity for a cause. It's a pure experiment in human behavior, virality, and the power of "what if?"

What if it works? What if we prove that one million people can each take the smallest action and create something incredible together?

Real-Time Stats

Every donation is tracked and displayed publicly. See exactly where we are, where every dollar goes, and how close we are to the goals.

🏆

Public Leaderboards

Top donors, top referrers, top countries—everything is public. Compete, share, and see how you rank among thousands.

💰

Open Books

Where does the money go? You'll see every expense, every decision, and every step of the way. No hidden fees, no surprises.

⭐ What Makes This Different

🎮 Gamification

Badges, achievements, referral codes, leaderboards, Priority Score points—this isn't just donating, it's participating in something bigger. Climb the ranks, earn rewards, bring friends along.

🎉 The Filming Event

When we hit our goals, we're throwing a 1-2 day Caribbean filming event in Sint Maarten. Invited participants (based on Priority Score rankings) get invitations to join the celebration. Event activities are free, but invited participants cover their own travel and accommodation. This isn't theoretical—it's real.

📱 Built for Sharing

Every donor gets a unique referral code. Share it, track it, compete with it. The more people you bring in, the higher you climb on the referrer leaderboard.

🔬 Pure Experiment

This has never been done before. We're not copying anyone. We're not following a playbook. We're genuinely testing whether this can work. And you get to be part of that experiment.

👋 Hi, I'm Behind This

I'm just someone who asked a simple question: "Can the internet send me a dollar?"

I'm not a celebrity. I don't have millions of followers. I'm just curious about whether this can work. And I figured the best way to find out was to actually try.

I built this platform, set up the tracking, created the gamification, and now I'm putting it out into the world to see what happens. Will it work? Will one million people actually send $1 each? There's only one way to find out.

Let's make history together. One dollar at a time.
